It looks like the album that Carlos Santana discussed reuniting the 
original Santana members may be on the back burner as he moves forward 
with his new multi-star set, Corazón.
The album, which will be 
out in early 2014 on RCA/Sony, includes guest performances from artists 
of the Latin world including Chocquibtown (Colombia), Lila Downs 
(Mexico), Gloria Estefan (Cuba), Los Fabulosos Cadillacs (Argentina), 
Juanes (Colombia), Miguel (USA), Niña Pastori (Spain), Samuel Rosa of 
Skank (Brazil), Soledad (Argentina), Diego Torres (Argentina), Ziggy 
Marley (Jamaica) and Romeo Santos (Dominican Republic).
To 
promote the new album, Santana will appear in Guadalajara, Mexico on 
December 14 at the Arena AFG for Corazón, Live in Mexico: Live It to 
Believe It. All of the guest stars on the album will be on hand to 
perform except for Marley and Santos. 
In addition, HBO Latino 
and HBO Latin America will be filming the concert which will air on the 
stations in the spring and will be later released on DVD. A documentary 
is being shot at the same time on the making of the event. 
Corazón
 is currently still being recorded in Las Vegas under the guidance of 
producer Lester Mendez. More details, including a track listing and 
release date, will be announced at a future date.
