Paisley's wife: He's not cheating

Brad Paisley's wife laughs off rumours he's cheating with Carrie Underwood.

The country music singer was the subject of a scandalous report in The National Enquirer alleging he was unfaithful to his wife of 10 years, Kimberly Williams-Paisley, with his Country Music Awards co-host.

The Nashville actress was asked about the rumours while attending the 5th Annual African Children's Choir Gala in New York City on Thursday and admitted she knew nothing about the claims.

"Am I in the National Enquirer? You're breaking it to me! What did I do?" she asked Us Weekly, whose reporter informed her of the report.

"Are you serious? Wow! I hope it helps our careers! That's all I can say," she mused.

While trying to see the silver lining, Kimberly also assured skeptics the couple are not on the rocks. The actress acknowledged their busy schedules can keep them apart but said spending time with each other and their two kids, six-year-old Huck and four-year-old Jasper, is always a priority.

"We have family Sundays together," she said.

"We spend as much time as we can. We're very down-to-earth people. We come from good families, and we appreciate family."

Kimberly, 42, is also still smitten with her husband. Ten years after they wed she said they are more in love than ever.

Asked about her favourite quality of Brad's, she said: "His sense of humour. [He makes me laugh] not all the time, but when it's important!"
